No, the Elgrand hasn't gone yet. I'm just toying with the idea what if i suddenly had 250 million rupiahs (about 19,000 USD) to spend on a used car here in Indonesia. Here's some that i found.
-1973 Alfa Romeo Giula Super
Some people said that you're not a proper Petrolhead until you own an Alfa Romeo. And from the looks of it, it looks fairly clean. The price is acceptable too, at 125 Million Rupiah (9,500 USD), that left me some room to enhance the car even further. But, i don't like the color. Alfa Romeo for me is red or black, and if it's not red or black it's kinda weird. But the rest of it looks good.
-2001 Maserati Spyder 4200GT
Hey, Mrs Aya is getting a Maserati Ghibli, why i'm not getting a Maserati as well? :D
This Spyder looks quite clean, although god knows how good the engines and the gearbox are. Also, being the cheapest Maserati on sale in Indonesia currently, that's not very promising either. It's also not a manual, but rather has something called "Cambriocorsa" gearbox. But, it's a Maserati cabriolet and comes with perfect shade of yellow! I want this thing.

-1964 Mazda B600
This car is a bit more "for the lulz" idea only. It's a tiny SUV with 600cc V-Twin producing less power than some blender and has a top speed of 49 mph. But look at it! It's adorable. Plus it's extremely clean, and very cheap at 85 Million Rupiah, or 6,460 Freedom Monies. It's also has the correct shape of white, and i'm sure it'll get quite a lot of attention on the road.
-1991 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R
This car looks a bit rough, with rather bad pictures. But come on, it's a Pulsar GTI-R! And it runs and drives!
A Nissan Hot Hatch classic, this car looks like a perfect candidate for flip and for me learning how to restore a car back to it's former glory. Plus, i can't imagine how awesome driving this car when it's fully restored. I mean, it has 227hp 2.0l turbocharged inline-4, complete with 4WD and weighs about 1,210 kg. A bit expensive though in my opinion (115 Million Rupiah, or about 8740 USD), but i'm sure it's going to be awesome.
Which one do you think it's the best?*
